I have a load of PPU brass in .44 but I find huge inconsistencies in the quality. Half of it would not go into the shellholder in my press and then the half that did seem to be 'oversized' as in the bullet would literally fall into the case after it had been resized.
Not sure if it's a bad batch or has anyone had similar experiences
Cheers aaarggh
I’ve had similar experiences with some of their 7x57 with some cases being a real struggle to place into the shell holder so you’re not alone. To be fair it’s cheap and cheerful ammo, I tend to buy it as a stand by in case I’m short on reloading time. If you’re after good quality brass then a treat of some Norma, Lapua or Winchester would be the way to go, it will serve you well if looked after.

No Keith don't get starline it's hard enough sorting out who's brass is who's when picking up after a detail.I use starline without complaint and haven't heard anything from other's that use it other than me pocketing their empties.
To be fair it was bought in desperation when I couldn't get anything else locally. I mainly use Starline and CBC which are serving me well, the main reason for the post was to see what others had experienced.
The one thing I have found is my groups seem better with the PPU so I do use it for the precision where I load one at a time......but that might be just in my head
