I've just read the report - that's quite an achievement! clapclap - Again very interesting to read about the team tactics, with 'waits', and using odd sighters..... I wouldn't have wanted to be in the last pair of the last detail!

Well shot team GB :flag13:

Dougan,

We were just to your right on 106,107 & 108 - until about 1030 - I had my FB hoodie on - hard to miss at 6ft 6" with a shaved head too. We were shooting No 4s

We had a new starter who'd never fired any type of firearm and I had him shooting some tidy groups with a little scoped CZ .22 in fairly short order, he was well chuffed :good: then we had him on a 308 which was quite funny when he first pulled the trigger

Now that's interesting - I/we wondered what you guys were up to...It all looked very organised (especially compared to us!)...was it some kind of training or a course?

Wish I'd spotted the hoodie...

Stayed at Bisley - had a good weekend, course run by Charles Perry & John Miller. John was a tad late Sunday morning, after inviting 6 of us for a quick pint troutslapping - hey ho - I recall speaking to Mike357 sometime after 2200hrs - but don't recall much else!!

Day ONE of a 5 day precisionj rifle shooting course....Sig sitting with my Leupold on it (almost as big as the rifle) ready to go...15 minutes of zeroing later and the elevation turret goes PHUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fair play to the instructor, he's off with the rifle to fit a scope he has and bore sight it for me - all ready for 7am tomorrow start.

So,I get seconded into helping a lass zero her rifle...and guess what, the stock was warped hence no way it was getting on target..Oh joy!
