Had rear sight knocked out my Marlin to facilitate the Williams Ace in the Hole peep sight only to realise when I got home that due to the increased height of the rear sight I should have replaced the front one too. Guess that's why you get two in the packet. Back off to Charlie's tomorrow.

Cleaned Marlin and 10/22 ahead of GR Nationals this weekend and will be zeroing both tomorrow before reloading ammo on Thurs eve.

Wait you're installing a cabinet? Why the change of heart?
No change of heart.

1) It was free.

2) It only holds five rifles.

3) It has a glass front and no lock.

4) The other 50 rifles are still in the racks, hanging on the walls, and resting in the corners, with loaded mags and bandoleers of loaded chargers scattered about.

5) Did I menion it was free?

Although a few of these should be locked up just because of their value.

Ah, free. Makes sense :good:

My first thought was an actual steel gun-safe.

He's not making it up either, people. There's loaded mags and clips and drums everywhere. Enough to make a UK FEO have a heart attack. O:-)

Ah yes, but apart from that, he's probably no danger to anyone...*

Today, i've been mainly loving my Swing - I shot a 49.7 at 300 this morning...not a brilliant score but the best I've shot in ages

Steve: When I read about you putting them in the washer, I was shaking my head...but they are very, very clean!
