@Blu Yeah they are quite expensive here but that is the going rate in the UK all the ones advertised at the moment are going for £850 so I got mine £50 cheaper lol. Rip off Britain for you :)

The cocking handle doesn't seem to make contact with the edge so I'm unsure how it's happened.

I am just wondering if theres anyway that I could get the gunshop I bought it from to order another one to exchange it with, under the poor workmanship clause of the sale of goods act? Would it be a reasonable request based on what I've stated if I did?

I have considered trying to touch it up with a marker or something but I just don't feel comfortable doing something like that with my new £800 toy ;)

Thanks for the help so far!

Have you contacted them to see what they say?

No not yet, I am very new to the scene and I wanted to check with some more experienced people whether what I am thinking is reasonable, rather than just phoning up and being possibly fobbed off.

You'll probably be fobbed off as that's the nature of the UK guntrade.

From personal experience you're going to have to fight your corner if you want it addressed since I doubt your vendor will have much sympathy.

I hope it works out for you.

Yeah I kinda felt I was, it's just niggling at me seeing as it was brand new and cost me a lot of dollar....

Oh well maybe I'll just look into getting duracoated or something. Can they do it in the original colour? And how much is it roughly?

Thanks guys.

Dave at Valkyrie does the coating and is good and should be able to match the colour but will do a far better job than the original, alternatively you can have a go yourself if you feel confident enough.
