An update, it has been slow getting the sample due to Christmas and work and stuff getting in the way however I managed to get over and pick this up today.

The picture does not do it justice, I am personally impressed with the item, this one is in self colour so it can be finished to the users taste, the wood is a marine grade ply and takes stain, varnish, wax and oiled finishes very well. I have no plans to do this as so many people will have differing tastes in finishes.

No chance of the cases falling out of these trays, this is the tray on end.

I am going to do the drawings for trays to suit .308 bolt face initially in 25, 50 and 100 case options so anything that uses a .308 bolt face will fit. 6,5-284 and straight .284 fit snugly in the trays as well. Finger grooves will be machined on the next ones to aid picking them up. So far I have been asked to include a one inch wide strip along the side of the trays to enable a masking tape label to be added with load details if needed, so the loader has room to add a temporary label.

Any comments anyone at this stage?

Top job, can't wait to get some of these on my reloading bench. Just putting cases in these will make my shooting so much more accurate.... fingerscrossed

Can anyone think of any changes that could be incorporated? So far:

25, 50 and 100 holes, finger grooves to the sides, strip for label tape, anything else?

Hole front to back, just in from one edge in the middle of its length so they can be hung up.
