Wooden load trays - bulk buy

#1 Post by ovenpaa »

Early days but....

I have been talking to someone about getting some 100 case load trays built, they would be CNC machined out of white 25mm plywood and finished to a very high standard with radiused edges and finger grooves on the sides. Sized to suit common cartridges.

No prices right now as it is dependant on volume, all I can say is they would be very competitively priced, ideally a 100 case tray would cost no more than a couple of traditional plastic 50 case trays and that includes delivery.

If there was a requirement other sizes may be available, I was thinking of a whole range 25/50/100 &200.

Would anyone be interested?

Why do you fancy wooden trays?
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

I'm certainly interested. Would be nicer than the plastic ones.

Do you need me to measure the cases or would calibres be sufficient?

I'd like a 100 one for .38 and two of 50s for .303/7.5x55/7.62x54r. There's not a lot of difference in size there so perhaps the same size would do for all of the rifle rounds?

I would probably go for a couple of 100 x 308 ones.

I'd prefer 50 case trays for all calibres from 22 Hornet to 577 snider.

Do you have length and breadth sizes, in inches please?
