Membership, being a full member would offer me benefits over being a member of an affiliate club, a big one would be the ability to share a lane with members of other clubs. But at the moment I pay my club £100 / year (we only shoot at Bisley). I am also a member of the Countryside Alliance at a further £60 (because I hunt with guns and I also get insurance). I would like to get the benefits of being a full member of the NRA and would also like to support the NRA, but another £70 is pushing the bill up a bit. If I was only after insurance and the ability to shoot at Bisley I could dump the club, dump the CA and just join BASC and use their affiliate club status to book lanes.
How much I would be willing to pay is difficult to say, but my club already covers some of the admin charges, I think they pay the NRA some form of fee for the shooters certificate, etc...

Big shop - planning problem again - if it had a direct shooting connection maybe (could we persuade Holland & Holland to move out of central London??), otherwise forget it.
Affiliated members upgrade - interesting - please expand on what would be expected.
Try scheme - has definite possibilities - and yes we have over 100 guns for hire including some interesting early 20th century military arms - I will definitely take that one forward and K can have the credit.
