As Vince pointed out in an earlier post the idea of of an F-AR is pie in the sky stuff, with trying to get a level playing field.
What would I really like? Apart from shooting more? I would really like a competition/s that didn't involve a huge outlay, hours to fine tune ammunition etc. Basically, something where you just turn up and shoot.
To be fair, Strathpeffer is like like that and I really enjoy that about the club. :goodjob:

I guess what it boils down too, is that I miss the military style of shooting - everyone has the same rifle and same ammunition and it's only the individual skills that are the difference.
While writing this, I realised I was trying to fit my shooting into something I don't want to do or be. I don't want to be a competitive shooter and be stressed about every little aspect of my performance or my equipment.
I shoot to have fun and that's what I going to do! :shakeshout:
