Wise words, talk of 9-5 visits and a raising the fees to GBP200 do not mix well. In Denmark they have 10 year licences which would make this more palatable and reduce some paperwork so saving costs.

Just had my renewal forms through today. No more Beds FLO, now it is done by Herts. Included in the forms was a new piece of paper, presumably Herts idea, asking for your permission and/or club to certify your reason for ownership and what calibres, acreage etc.
Wonder how much of personal history has been passed on? Not much, I expect. And the concern is that Herts may take a different view as to permitted use.
