Buy a decent manual like the Lyman that has pressure tested data to use along side manufacturers data.

Internet forum data should never be taken in isolation from good, tested, printed data.

Here's a link to Alliant load data which was published in 2014, directly from their website. There is a section for .38spl which includes Bullseye data for 125gr Speer GDHP (bottom right of p.77). You can use this as a starting point if you wish, or you can get in touch with Alliant directly and ask whether they have the load data at hand for your needs. As always, use of this load data is at your risk etc.

Seems OK, what makes you think it is "hot"?

It is .357" magnum, in a rifle after all.

If you want softer loads then use .38" special data.
