I second that.

Also there is a brewery in Castle Douglas although I didn't find them very welcoming.

And the Dumfies & Galloway Aviation Museum.

I think you have to go as far as Ayr to find an RFD.

Glenluce gunroom has, in my experience, the most reasonably priced ammunition in the region.

I would go more often if it weren't so far away.

That said, they sell mostly expanding hunting ammo, so if you're looking for target shooting fmj/hpbt then you might be better off sticking to your usual supplier.

If you're travelling up the M6 to get to Scotland, Malmo guns near Lancaster is also worth a visit.

I visit the camp/ Ranges there about 3 times per year. the fish and chip shop on the harbour is nice.
never found any gunshops while up there, but then , im usually busy.

theres a few stalker outfits up that way if you fancy some deer/ fox shooting. 'Solway Stalker' over on SD gets good reviews.
