So why have the NRA banned plastic wads?
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Re: slug loadings
I'm assuming they don't want their newish butt zero range being covered in plastic wads and I can understand the decision Still a pain for those of us who find that the slug for sale doesn't shoot as well as our home loads and indeed don't want to spend £120 plus for a days target shotgun.
Re: slug loadings
Is that the cost of a day on But Zero now?! Bloody hell.....

Re: slug loadings
Cheapest S&B slug I know of is sixty pound a hundred,.I'm only down for the phoenix and the nationals usually and ideally I'd shoot T&P1,multi target and embassy cup semi and pump and maybe classic T&P1.This would require 186 rounds add to this the seven courses of fire at something like eight pounds or so entry fee.
