Aye but at bullet casting temperatures it is not sufficient to cause concern.
I have been casting all my life and have spent god knows how many hours, days, weeks standing over a lead pot casting and smelting and my lead levels are fine and always have been.
Like everything else simple, common sense practices around bullet casting make it quiet safe with no health threats.
It is uninformed apocryphal scaremongering like this that keeps shooting such a narrow, bland and conservative activity in this country.
