It's not difficult to work out considering Prvi Partizan make 7.62x33mm Kurtz which is presumably also shipped as "Tractor Parts" down the Adriatic and along the Med.

They only retail for that as no new full autos have been allowed to be registered under the NFA in the US since 1986. If it wasn't there STG-44's would not retail for that, nor would a Mac 10 retail $5000 plus.

Yes, I know why, I was just wondering what their reaction would be if you told them how much the thing they probably just see as an old weapon that they probably are just greatful to have access to, would be worth what to some of them would be an astonishing amount of money in the USA (not of course that they could sell it there of course)
Surprised that some yanks haven't tried to smuggle a few in though somehow and stash them away to bring out once in a while to sell as 'found in a loft' left over war trophies.

That wouldn't work due to the NFA, though you could get it in bits, destroy the old receiver, build a new one and have a "new" semi-auto STG 44.

Saw that a deact STG-44 sold at auction yesterday for £4700 (inc commission). Other more ordinary stuff was making crazy prices too!

I do seem to recall so, the company even offered a straight pull on the english version of their website. Can't remember who did, or if they're still around Sim. How would you go about ammo? From what I can gather one of the few places that made commerical 7.92x33 was a syrian plant and I believe Privi makes it too.
