1000 yard shooting the .308 with 190's

I will watch this one with interest
As you know I tried to use these at last years Europeans with what ended up as little success.
Despite being on target one day the next day the fall of shot could not be found and we suspected that the rounds were falling at such an angle that they were getting blown all over the place.
Possibly hard hat time for the guys in the butts!

I was shooting 190's at Diggle last weekend mind you that was only 5/600 yards.

My load is 46grains RL17 which is giving me 2740fps out of my 32" 1/10twist barrel. According to JBM I should still be around 1340fps at 1000 yards, which I'm going to try at Blair next month.

190 SMK with 45gn Viht 550 ave 2420 fps in 26" barrel,
