Yeah, right after I wash my own car, clean my own house and do the dishes by hand.......

You used to be able to buy ready primed .22 brass in the USA ready for you to do the rest yourself and there was a great article on it a few years ago. The chap who did the review spent literally thousands of hours to confirm you might as well buy factory ammunition

I saw a similar article a couple of years back, and whilst it'd be nice to have control over the ammunition, you don't want to be mid any competition and hit the same spot with your rifing pin as the last time and not have it go off. Single shot prone or semi auto speed. either one will throw you off.
Add to it that unless you mix up a phenomenally accurate mix of priming solution, and apply it consistently to every single case in the exact same quantity, you're not going to make lab precision ammo which would be, for me, the only reason to contemplate doing so.
Maybe I should finally get rid of the shoebox full of empty .22lr cases under my bed... >.<

When there was shortage of .22lr in the USA lots of stuff came out about reloading rimfire ammo.

Always use factory or mil-surp personally. Never use home made loads.
