Well....not fluent mate, I was only married to the mad Nazi for 4 years...but.

Mantel is coat/jacket....

Geschoss, not heard that one. It was always patronnen for bullet. Voll is full, so fully jacketed.

Tiel is part, so part jacketed.

Sieg Heil

Mein luftkissen fahtzeuge ist mit ahlen eingefult....spelling sucks...soz. :bad:

Other usefull phrases

Drei stuck Bon Bon 3 piece suite

Ausfaht Herren Way out man!!

Zwei Recht Burgmeister "too right squire"

I remember a mate of mine threatening a drunken German trying to enter camp.

Nick points an L85 at him and yells...."Halt oder ich Sheisser"

The German (quite literally) pees himself and tells Nicko in broken English...."Nein, Nein, du meindst halt oder ich sheissen" "Halt oder ich sheisser means stop or I s***".....you had to laugh clapclap

Google translate at its best!

Geschoss can mean one of two things.

1. Projectile - such as a bullet, shell, missile that is shot or projected into the air.
2. Floor or Storey or Level of a building

It comes from the German verb schießen (schissen) meaning to shoot. In various tenses it becomes: schoss or geschoss And note the spelling i e, if it is changed to e i there is a totally different meaning and can be used to descibe my shooting some days. And Schoss can also mean bosom/breast.

So, in your translations change the references to floor and basement into bullet and you will be halfway there.
