Re: Broken Sinclair Arbor press
On the Lee Cast Classic the top section of ram can be removed and replaced with an insert, I do not thread them, instead they are held in place with an O Ring, the upper section is simply a threaded section with a lock nut. I built 2-3 ages ago so the drawing will be on paper as opposed to CAD however I will have a look and see if I can find something on them. I made everything out of polished stainless for the last one.

I would also contact the company you bought the press from, if it wasn't from Sinclair direct, and seek a replacement or refund as it it obviously not fit for purpose.

Re: Broken Sinclair Arbor press
I have been assured that the new part will be of a much better quality than the original and they chastised me for buying the Sinclair jobby apparently they could of made me one that would of been far superior to the Sinclair offering. Now they tell me. :cool2:
