The site lists road signs that have been shot in Hampshire amongst other places and at the bottom of the first page is the following.
On the 29th December 2009, Andrew Copland shot and killed his 4 year old daughter, his partner, then himself at his home in Aldershot 4.5 miles from this location. He used an illegally held 9mm Beretta M1934 semi automatic pistol and ammunition dating back to the 1940's. The weapon had a 7 round magazine.
Is Hampshire harbouring a macabre rehearsal site, a "Memento Mori" of a shooting murder..........

He seems to be a serious cock, obviously thinks he can cash in with his pseudo journalism.
He'd be more suited to one of the "celeb" ghost hunting nights.
Wonder how long before he advises the likes of GCN ?
Amazing how the police seem to have the time and resources to forensically investigate such incidents.

Oh, we think you might be in hot soup, ooman: the road signs will be within 50 feet of a public highway...
discharges any firearm or firework within 50 feet of the centre of such a highway,
AND in consequence a user of the highway is injured, interrupted or endangered.

So just keep a good eye for anyone coming.
That caused a little bit of excitement one day. A clay shoot I went to used field adjacent to a motorway and occasionally would put the firing cage on the embankment to allow shooting at "rabbits". Between on squad finishing and a second arriving a couple of women broke down and their car stopped close by.
As soon as shooting started there were screams - which were immediately investigated. Once the women understood what was going on - and someone offered them a coffee, all was fine.
Had the police been called the shoot would have been fine as we were over 50 feet from the centre.

Why did kamikaze pilots wear helmets?
God loves stupid people, that is why he made so many of them.
High velocity sharp stones and kids with catties more like it.
I wand some of those road signs, easily shaped, saves a fortune on Kevlar and a damn sight lighter. "Replaced at £500" , that's be £450 for the labourers and £50 for the sign

Also the point from the highway is measured to where the gun is discharged, not where the target is struck.
But seriously, if this was caused by legally owned firearms, the owners what a bit of an @r$e kicking
