A weapon platform that spends more time in front of a full length mirror than an ETR.

I narrowed the field down to these two. Went for the 15-22 in the end. Performs flawlessly.

Tried out my 2nd hand CMMG for the first time yesterday. Only shooting on a 25 yard indoor range, but was very impressed with the accuracy. Got several disaproving looks from the old boy target shooters.

My S&W M&P15-22 is very nice, will shoot 1/2" at 20 - 30yds without a problem, also happily fed anything I've put through it so far.

What are you aiming through?

I have a Burris AR-332 on top of my Lantac Raven and this afternoon sighted out to 50m and managed to keep it all in the black on a 20yd practise target using minimags. l have set it up on the small dot under the main dot as there was a gain rather than a drop because of the trajectory charateristics and hoping the main dot will cater for 20/25yd.

l was led prone and had a Fabdefense bipod on the front.

Interested in what others put on their "nasty" black rifles as l have a collection of red dot sights that I swap around (even on my .357 Marlin).

Having fired most of 22 Tacticals l would go with the Sig (excluding the more expensive options), although l have found my ISSC is better than most people think as long as you tighten up and Loctite the bracket inside. l used a set of Magpul flip-ups co-witnessed with Sightmark multi-recticle red dot and get very good results.

Vested interest in .22LR .357 9mm .223 .308 7.62x39 & 7.62x54R
