I didn't say unbiased - but they are accurate and "fair" in the legal sense. Of course, you'll have slightly different facts brought up here and there, and after a case has ended you'll find lots more facts suddenly rushing into the public domain, or different emphases placed on those facts for the sake of catching your eye, but the facts will always be the same.
I suggest that the way the article was written put a slant on it, the "reporter" or "editor" chose to call it a shooting incident rather than a poaching issue, the lead paragraph was about waiving a gun at the workers where as from the summing up it seemed that the main thing they were charged with was shooting deer out of season not threatening the workers.
See Dromia, you can do journalism too!

Bed-time story.

Many years ago in a certain place; poachers were seen and heard in some woods, usually at night. They were using rifles capable of full automatic fire. A group of local people who had a particular interest got together with some friends who had shotguns, to go and 'join in the fun' Every time a gun fired full auto, a shotgun fired as well. The poachers aparrently didn't like sharing the fun and stopped going into the woods.

Perhaps the Perthshire poachers should be invited to join in a similar game?

just a thought. O:-) :run:

Good game but get with the programme; the 'Perthshire poachers' actually had permission to shoot deer on the land!
