Poachers in Perthshire
These two need named and shamed for not only poaching deer out of season but also for failing to be prosecuted under the appropriate firearms legislation and thereby not being sentenced properly!

It is nigh impossible to form an opinion of what happened when all you have is a journalist's report. All that you can be certain of is that whatever is written it will be bigoted, inaccurate, with any facts having no place in the piece.

Probably found the deer dead at the roadside after being out for a zero session with their rifle. Just careless gun handling.

What?, you think they found 5 deer at the side of the road??? surely not!.Andy632 wrote:Probably found the deer dead at the roadside after being out for a zero session with their rifle. Just careless gun handling.
And pointing a loaded firearm at someone should surely qualify for the mandatory 5yrs inside unless Scotland has different firearms legislation for this as well.
There's room for all Gods creatures, next to the mash and gravy :)

All 5 of them, some missing hooves and heads! How bizarre! And all on a day trip from Barnsley. :lol:Andy632 wrote:Probably found the deer dead at the roadside after being out for a zero session with their rifle. Just careless gun handling.
If I recall, the original report on this story advised that the rifles were loaded, and not bagged and the encounter took place in a public car park.

In the nicest possible way - go forth and procreate.dromia wrote:It is nigh impossible to form an opinion of what happened when all you have is a journalist's report. Kind regards,
A Journalist.
PS. Go and look up the Contempt of Court Act and the Magistrates' Court Act, paying particular attention to the sections restricting the content and facts contained within a court report such as the one quoted above, and then come back to me and justify your lazy slur. I am confident that you will be unable to do so.
