Re: Panic buying!
What's the latest on this? Any noteworthy shortages? I have had a look at a couple of U.S forums, and they have been talking angrily about scalping and profiteering. Three box limits in the large shops that stock ammo. The cheap blaser .22lr ammo that was going for washers a couple of years ago has soared in value on online gun auction sites like gun broker.
Re: Panic buying!
Can't seem to get any of my preferred rimfire ammo anywhere. Looks like this is a knock on of the buying in the US. UK importers order very little, comparitively, US manufacturers look upon those foreign orders as being filled whenever.....
Any decent European high velocity ammo on recommendation?

In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Re: Panic buying!
Thanks Neil.
My preferred is either Federal Champion or CCI AR Tactical. I know the Mini mag seems to be a good fall back position for some, but I did wonder if I was to start with MM's if I could be in a similar situation in a few months.....
Or, for the mean time, should we just buy what we can, when we can.....?

I bought a box of RWS high velocity five years ago, and even then, it was eye wateringly expensive.
Another comment that I haven't encountered before on the U.S forums is the term 'gouging'.
