Landmarc

#1 Post by johngarnett »

Have any forum members had a letter from Landmarc about the increase in range charges for MOD controlled ranges and the way that some weekends will be charged at a higher rate than others.

Is this just Cornwall or is the letter countrywide?

To do with equating the range wardens contracts of employment or something wtfwtf

Any info would be useful.

Can you give me an indication as by how much the fees are going up? We had to adjust our club membership fees this year (upwards) to take in the last round of Landmarc price hikes ie range lane fees and Range Warden O.T. payments. Looks like we are going to have to address it again sign01

I have tried to find the copy of the letter our club received but lost it in the ether!

From memory, from Jan 1st range wardens hourly rate to be doubled, from £28 to £56 / hour. I'm not sure of lane charge increases.

We have to await an official calender but, every other Saturday is time and a half, every other Sunday is double time.

If anyone can clarify further then I am open to correction.

Do we have any members who have contacts in Landmarc or Land Estate Office?

Nope, they do not even get the £28, I am not sure how it works.

From memory range wardens get paid some 15k plus overtime.

As far as I know, Landmarc haven't told the NRA about this. I had a letter about it kindly forwarded from one of our affiliated clubs, and was also left wondering where and how this had originated. If anyone has a policy letter from a central part of Landmarc or MoD, a copy would be very useful.

Hi Folks,

Has anyone any updates re this situation please?

To date our club hasn't had any replies nor aknowledgements of any correspondence to anyone.

It would appear to be the difference of having two range wardens, employed under different types of contracts. Our resident warden requests that he has some Sat / Suns off. When we have the relief warden, his weekends are charged at double time ie £59 per lane / day. No, he doesn't get the extra!!!!!

I'm happy to have further discussion 'off line' if anyone wishes. I don't want to tread on toes publically!

Thank you
