why the cardboard?

The cardboard box cases have a thicker neck, lapua reduced the neck thickness by about a thou to bring the cases more in line with C.I.P specs, my chamber has a .272 neck my loaded rounds are .270 a nice snug fit, that extra thou and it starts to get a bit baggy.
