I was out today and was using high pheasant 32g and caledonian 30g and some crown squire 28g (1 oz).
The crown cycled the bolt no problem but the other 2 the empty case was not ejecting. I know the gun has a shot weight adjustment the question is do I turn it to the heavier setting or the lighter setting>

Set to light weight and forget about it.
Had mine years, shot all kinds of steel, hevi shot and down to 28g No5 without any fuss or changing up to heavy setting.
