It has to go RFD to RFD.

I am sure I read about an approved RFD courier service in place now, they can pick up and deliver from private addresses.

RFD-NET - however a quick Google shows it might not be what it is cracked up to be....
EDIT - The RFD-NET site shows nothing at first glance however a Pdf on them is here: http://www.rfdnet.net/PDF/welcome_v1.pdf They also appear to be RFD to customer only.

Re: Sending a gun to local RFD
RFD net seem to be no longer operating, as far as I can make out they never managed to get the legalities of what they wanted to do sorted out.
Theoretically if you are just sending the gun in for repair and not giving up title or having it taken off your ticket, all transactions of this nature must be face to face then, you could send it in. However I suspect that most RFDs would want to see your FAC along with the gun. Also I suspect that any company would want you to have an account with them rather than just calling up to book a collection.

This is the simple answer :goodjob: Most sending RFD's won't charge you a transfer fee and will probably get you a better deal on the courier cost tooSandgroper wrote:It has to go RFD to RFD.
