What is Target Rifle Shooting?

#1 Post by Actionclear »

I need some help for my club's webpage, I don't shoot TR so don't know what is involved.

Can someone please describe Target Rifle shooting to me. In simple terms so even I can understand it. :D
Explain what equipment is needed, and what you are trying to do with it all.

Unless someone can direct me to a site where it is already explained? I have looked, and looked...

Thanks Alan,

You would not believe how many websites I have been to looking for something like that!

It really goes to show how poorly our sport is marketed to the world.

Not surprising really when Bisley style target rifle is a minority part of the shooting arts.

Actually, you can find information on many 'minority' activities on the Internet, some of them quite bizarre!

You’ll certainly find something useful amongst the results of the following search on Target Rifle Shooting, which has 882,000 results:

I agree that there is plenty on th web on target shooting. But very little that explains what is actually involves.

It's OK now, my website is finished enough to be published.
