NobelSport Powders - North East supplier?

#1 Post by phaedra1106 »

Anyone know who sells NobelSport powders in the North East, Durham/Newcastle areas?

Ideally looking for 1kg tubs of Nobelsport GM3 but Vectan AS will do.

Thanks smile2

As far as I am aware Peter Lawman is the sole supplier in Northampton. However I have a way of getting Powder up to me/NE. I did order GM3 and AS last year and there is a flat fee of about £18 for weights up to 10kg. I have someone up here after powder so if we can either work up an order to 10kg or I can get it collected.

Anybody else out there after Nobelsport powder?

Thanks for Sadder, I'm down that way a lot too so we can work something out.

Thanks guys smile2

It's a pain here in the NE, only 2 full bore ranges to shoot on and only when my club can get dates (about 1 a month if we're lucky). Same with reloading components, local prices for bullets and powder are usually way over normal.

If you're doing a shopping list I do have a couple of things I'd like, I'm trying to stock up a couple of years worth of components in one go to get the price down :good:

I have tried ringing and emailing Peter Lawman but not got a reply in over a month.

This is what I emailed him,

1 off - 9mm Once-fired Cases x 1000 @ £35.00

20 off - .44 (429) 200g TMJ x100 @ £7.95/100

3 off - Nobelsport GM3 (1kg) @ 34.95/kg

Obviously I'd be more than happy to pay for carriage etc..

I do feel guilty for asking as Jon has already very kindly done me a massive favour by picking up and dropping off the TR140 for me at Newark last month.

Ah - but ya never asked - I offered....

AND, will say it again as I have openly stated before - had NOTHING but problems dealing with Pete Lawman, er, correction - TRYING to bloody deal with him!! Gave up chasing him after well over a year - bought the goods I was after direct from the USA instead. His web prices are great - but not much use when I was not able to purchase anything he had !!

I can get the 44 TMJ bullets for about £100/k if ya have no luck with Lawman...

Thanks Jon that would be great, much rather give you the money than someone who can't even be bothered to answer an email

I'd also recommend having a word with Dromia for comsumables in the NE. His prices are competitive, service is great and he can get a multitude of stuff.

I'll get back in touch over weekend re Lawmans.
