I'm going to Holt's next week...

#1 Post by Dr. Strangelove »

Does anyone want me to look at a lot for them? I'll be going down next week to take a look at a few rifles and would be happy to take a look at others for people if they want.

Take a look here for the two different sales pages:

Let me know!

The S5 stuff is very nice. MP5, lots of Browning Hi Powers, Webleys... It's going to be heart-wrenching to walk away from all of that!

1) Get an American or European friend who can buy bang bang toys
2) Set yourself up as a S5 dealer with orders from this friend which you then obtain on S5 authority
3) Due to the need for extensive restoration work on these guns it could take many months before the order is shipped and of course lots of testing is needed
4) Of course as soon as this shipment is made you get a new order so you have to import a very similar but obviously not identical gun back from the original customer's country to meet the new order

And if any of these shipments should turn out to be boxes of scrap metal instead of S5 firearms well that's just the bungling of a low level staff member who has since been retrained.

A Colt Python for 150 to 250 quid!! Is that because there is no demand?
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

Yes.

Absolutely heartbreaking to see brand new condition pistols (in many cases) selling for a few quid to be cut up for de-acts.
