Just a little heads up. Went into my local shop this afternoon for some Hodgdon powder. Unfortunately they are out of Benchmark and have to order some more. Took the order then said he'd better ring it through straight away as of the 1st of Feb, Edgar Brothers are putting up their prices........ again!!
So, that's Hodgdon, IMR, Hornady, Alliant, Nosler, Remington and Marlin, just of the top of my head. Could be worth getting to your local place ASAP and source "old stock" as Edgars last price hike shoved Hodgdon's up by nearly 6 quid a tub!!!

In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Don't you know there is a recession on, that means times are tough but profits have to stay high so time to screw the consumer even more. :55:
Shooting was never really a pastime for the poor, to me its a bit like fuel, if you have to worry about how much it costs then that means that you probably can't afford it.

Some RFDs don't need excuses they trade with integrity.
Trade and integrity, an oxymoron in the 21st century methinks.

Try WESTLANDER & Tim Hannams & Henry Kranks - one of them may have some older stock on the shelf
...most RFDs will sell at the current pre-increase price - a few will no doubt mark up the old stocks to add to their margins
The p*** on the price rise is that although some of the RFDs were told it was coming, none of them knew what the increase %age was going to be

I bought 1lb tubs of H4831sc for £17 & Re15 for £15 in December.
Unfortunately that was on the other side of the Pond.
How the importer can justify pushing prices here to way more than double that is beyond me.
