Repro No 32 scope?
All
Can anyone point me at someone doing Repro No32's, I've decided to put a scope on my No4 but would like to "Keep it real" but can't afford the rediculous genuine prices.
Cheers
Alan

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools!!

A Lyman Alaskan would be a suitable alternative. They were used on some No 4 sniper set ups; especially by the Canadians.

And if you manage to order from them - you're doing better than me - the last time I tried, overseas customers couldn't set up an account!ovenpaa wrote:Here you go http://e-sarcoinc.com/no32mkitelescope.aspx they sell the pads as well.

The 2 moa per click makes you wince though, is this the same as the original? Just shows how much more we have come to expect now.

Re: Repro No 32 scope?
The UK No32 Mk1 had range in 50 yard clicks and deflection (windage) in 2MOA clicks, the No32 Mk2 went to 1MOA for elevation and deflection and had an anti backlash spring fitted. I have a very late No32 Mk1 Kershaw (From memory it is within 5 of the end of run) It is fitted with the 1MOA index rings which may even been from when it was built being so close to the end.
The Canadian built ones were the same but numbered Mk1 and then Mk1A instead of Mk2.

Re: Repro No 32 scope?
if you take a look on the website for Thames valley guns you will find quite a comprehensive write up on these repro scopes.
I had a look at one during the trafalgar meeting it looked ok but not something I would personally buy.
