Badgers have expensive tastes, but remarkably little money - we just don't have pockets to keep it in for a start ! Until now I've never been particularly interested in shotguns but following a visit to the Royal Armouries reserve collection for a nice lecture I have a desire to get myself the appropriate stiffykate and then a shotgun. Can anyone recommend a nice affordable English side by side ? Second hand is fine - probably almost mandatory ! I may dream of a sidelock with damascus barrels but accept that I'll probably end up with a Baikal. It'll only be used for a little rough shooting from time to time, and the occasional clay perhaps...
