Apel rings on a Sako 85S

I have been asked this question and have no real idea so I thought I would throw it open to the forum, do we have any Sako 85S owners using Apel rings and mounts?

I have found the apel catalogue & they list a rings/bases set for a sako 85M,where my rifle is a 85S. Im not sure they are the same thing, as the distance between the sako tapers will be less on the S this might mean that the front mount might need some sort of extension to enable me to get the correct eye relief, ive e mailed apel to ask the question & am awaiting their reply. Do you know of any one who uses apel mounts on a S size sako?
