5 year mandatory sentance

Last week, one morning, Marge was listening to the early morning news and when I got up, she told me the following. A teenager had been caught with two pistols, one a glock, both in full working order and for which he had ammo. He was caught because he was threatening someone with them and he was let off with a caution. Has any one else heard this story I wonder and could possibly shed more info. Ronboy
