Serbian halts ammo exports

#1 Post by channel12 »

I just saw this on another site and followed the link
Following some diplomatic blowback, the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced this week that the country was halting all arms exports.

The announcement, delivered both by Vucic in an interview and a statement from the Serbian Ministry of Defense, lays out that all exports of weapons and military equipment manufactured in Serbia are suspended. Any future exports would require, "in addition to the consent of other competent ministries and agencies, the consent of the National Security Council."

No more exports of PPU ammunition and reloading components for the foreseeable future. This will have an impact on Kranks business as I believe they are the sole importer. I was using PPU .223 bullets to reload as they were around half the price of Sierra bullets.

Looks like Serbia is OK about making money as long as it has no consequences.
Now Russia is pointing the finger at them they stop all exports.
Spineless springs to mind.
