Unable to see posts or post

When I access individual forums there are no posts and at te bottom it says:
Forum permissions

You cannot post new topics in this forum
You cannot reply to topics in this forum
You cannot edit your posts in this forum
You cannot delete your posts in this forum
You cannot post attachments in this forum

If I call up "Unanswed topics" or "Active Topics" a list appears which gives me access.

Have you checked that you are actually logged in. Some times I can view posts but when I go to the board index it logs me out and I have to log back in.
When you get the error messages go to the bottom of the forum and see if it shows you as being logged in.

Yes, been there, done that ... I had to be to post the above and this. If I follow the "Notifcation" or other short cuts, fine, but opening a forum fails.

Still barred from posting in various forums or even viewing and no explanation why.

There has been no changes to the board as far as I am aware. No changes to your status either. Only thing I can think of is your cookies. However I am not so sure that is the problem given the problems you are reporting.

All cookies cleared, logged out and back in ...

Have you tried a different machine to access the forum?

No other PC easily available. Similar result on phone.

It is not the board settings, nor your board settings that is causing this, I have checked. I seem to remember someone on here had similar problems - can't remember who, I am hoping the person will see this thread. From memory it was his IP. Problems were not there when accessing the forum from work, only home.
