Who is going to the World Palma Championships In Australia

#1 Post by RDavies »

Is there anyone here going to the World Palma Championships in Brisbane in October?
I will be there before the palma comp shooting F Open. I have just finished a 5 day Queens prize shoot at Belmont and have shot there a few times. If anyone needs any info on facilities, what to bring, what is available localy or any other insider info, a few Ozzies on this forum might be able to help.

Hi Rod,

I'll be there!

hehe

I fly in on the 6th, and have a target booked on the 7th if you want to send some rounds down before the comp starts.

Coldest summer for 20 years....... miserable sodding country we live in.

Hope it rains and it's cold!

In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Pah! 7C this morning as I walked out to the 'bike, who stole our summer?

I am looking forward to some range reports and wish all of those competing the very best of luck, I assume it is not like Bisley where you take sun block and waterproofs?
