Badger doesn't own a .223 / 5.56 rifle
Despite having a goodly collection of firearms, oomans, we don't have anything in .223". We've never seen the point of it. Are we unaware of something and thus missing out ?

Yes, you are missing out on a .223 which is an essential slot to own for all sorts of things. - Get yourself a S&L legacy. They are switch barrels as are the larger models and also lost a .300 BLK barrel and the .222 a well as a choice of 1:10 and 1:8 twist for the .223.

We already have a S&L Traveller in 7.92mm, and an awesomely accurate gun it is too. We've never really seen the point of .223" though - what is it good for ?

Fox and things of a similar size plus huge fun on paper out to 600m and challenging beyond. It is also a nice cartridge for ladies and younger people to start with.

Why a .223?........cheap as chips to run, and with a 30" 8 twist barrel, good fun at 1000yds.

Sorry...I just automatically think AR and change the upper

Actually some of the latest barricade busting 5.56 would do all sorts of nasty things to you, but I like badgers so lets not compare there eh?
