The total carriage on the order came to $103 but considering the size and weight of the box which contained two annealing machines six redding die sets and some other odds and sods i dont think it was excessive.

Kenny you know what I am like with my enfields can only be bothered to handload .303 for my 4T with bloddy expensive sierra bullets.

Shooting to 1000 yards?

I run just under 40 grains of N140 with CCI primers, 174 SMK's and HXP or S&B brass which is OK at 600 yards.

I have been known to shoot long distance shooting 1000 yd snaps 3xfig 11's with some success, but in general shoot it out to 600 yds and the occasional mcqueen at 300.
never had much success with the S&B brass found it to be very thin and brittle not had one myself as i gave up on it after 2 reloads with split necks but some friends encountered case head seperation after a few reloads with neck sizing only.

HXP is certainly thicker and PPV seems to work as well. I am only on my second loading for S&B so I have no long term experience with it.
