mixing powders
well I just made a major ooopsie.
I made up some rounds yesterday, I did some 38 S&W and some 45ACP.
today I've gone to load up some 44SPL, first job, empty the powder hopper, grab a bottle of Bullseye off the shelf, open it up and pour the powder in. Then, because I'd set a new drum for it, I made up a label, after double checking the scales. right out the ticket, 6.4gr True Blue.
hang on, true blue? look at loading manual, yes, 6.4gr TrueBlue. dies on the press are 45ACP.... not 38S&W wanting 2.2gr Bullseye, as I'd loaded that first.
aaarggh aaarggh aaarggh aaarggh aaarggh
I have just poured a full powder hopper of true blue into a half full pot of bullseye!! Usually I leave the bottle of powder out on the bench, but yday, I finished the bottle of True blue, so put it under the shelves.
so, what do I do with the powder, is it saveable or do I just dispose of it?

Use it to take some old style flash photos! Reenact the gunpowder plot under your shed! See if it smokes well when mixed with benson and hedges!

Re: mixing powders
Sounds like you're having a bad week mate. The garden will thank you for providing a pound of good fertiliser.
