Don't know if its cheap but this where I get mine from, get the thinners as well. I also use Tempilsticks.

I prefer sticks, simpler, but some brass is too smooth for it to work on so then the lacquer comes out.

Also got mine from Walters and Walters and as per the above comment, very quick delivery and a friendly voice on the other end.
