"Stop Clause 81 of the police and crime bill being passed as law.

The supporters of this petition are against clause 81 of the police and crime bill. The supporters would like to see a balanced consultation arrangement between all parties that would be concerned and or affected by any changes to the home office guide on firearms law.

Clause 81 of the police and crime bill would give the police and only the police the right to be consulted by the home secretary when making amendments to the home office guide on firearms law. The supporters of this petition would like to see a balanced consultation arrangement between all parties that would be concerned and or affected by any changes to the home office guide on firearms law. We feel this is the only democratic and balanced way amendments to this or any law should be conducted"

Has anyone seen or had anything from the "national" organisations about this, their stance on it and what they are doing about it, other than the usual bending over to receive.
