Re: Steel Core rifles
If they work as well as the specs suggest, then they should be OK. It'll be interesting to hear from any owners/users about real-world performance.
Re: Steel Core rifles
I'm almost sure this company was formed by someone who made the split from RPA International when that company became Rangemaster Preceision Arms. I either read an article or a promotion blurb where the rifles were being tested extensively by the Pakistanis, I think.
Never seen one in the flesh. And considering that RPA were a Kent firm and they seem to abound in this county, Steelcore are virtually unknown.
I do know a bloke who might know....

In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

One of the founders of Steel core is an RCO for the FCSA. Top guy and great rifles, there are usually a fair few rifles of theirs on the firing point at Lydd on FCSA days :-)

Re: Steel Core rifles
Thanks for the heads up. There was a favourable review of the .308 in the NRA Journal last year and I'm seriously considering spending the kids' inheritance on one

It doesn't look too dissimilar to the Orsis T-5000, look looking bit of kit.
