Re: EU firearms restrictions petition
I realise most of us have already signed it, I've been sharing this on FB for my non shooting friends pushing the non democratic angle.

Re: EU firearms restrictions petition
Seeing it's for the whole of Europe I'd have thought more people would have signed by now, just goes to show the apathy, very worrying.Les wrote:Only 185,387 more signatures to go.

I had already signed this, but it seems to have let me sign it again
Although I'm sure a lot of this is apathy I'm also certain that a sizable chunk of the shooting community who aren't members of forums/plugged into social media are blissfully unaware its even there.

In fairness to my indoor club there are notices on the board in the club house and the secretary/owner does send out emails when these things come up, don't know if they send them in the post to people who don't have email addresses though.

My clubs are sending out the emails, whether the old fart members are doing anything about it is another matter.Chuck wrote:So what are CLUBS doing about it, also shooting publications etc etc.....???Although I'm sure a lot of this is apathy I'm also certain that a sizable chunk of the shooting community who aren't members of forums/plugged into social media are blissfully unaware its even there.

Agree that attention can be drawn to this by emails but it's up to the person to actually do something - don't rely on email as snail mail still has a place.
Shame on those who think this will all just go away!
