SCC (Shooter Certification Card)

I've been looking for info on obtaining a SCC, but info seems to be a bit sketchy. However i booked the assessments through NRA and went to Bisley today to complete them, only having half an Idea what to expect.
So for any one else planning to do the assessments or looking for info, here is a quick overview of what to expect.
Assessment starts out with basic safety questions
What siren sounds at start and end of session and in an emergency.
What to do if the emergency siren does go off.
Basic weapon handling.
Misfire procedure and unloading a misfire.
Sight adjustment and understanding of MOA and basic question of how many clicks it would be for a sight change from one distance to another.
Clearing the firearm and proving its clear.
Once questions were answered we moved on to shoot.
Safe handling moving rifle to the firing point was observed, then shot 3 rounds at 100yds for a consistent group, but as long as you are on the target they were happy.
Clear and prove firearm is clear.
Finally handling when moving off firing point was observed.
That's it nothing to arduous, takes 10-15mins and card lasts for 4 years.
I would suggest that if you are going to do it for a scoped rifle that you also do iron sights as well or vice versa, as you only have to do the question and answer session once and pay one range fee, you then shoot both rifles one after the other. Rifles can be hired and ammo was supplied with the hire.
I hired an Enfield No4 for the iron sight shoot for a bit of fun and rifle was waiting for me at the firing point.
Basic cost was £25 per range and hire was £12 with ammo.
