I just stumbled accross this site whilst looking for genuine EOTech sights in the UK: http://www.vxtactical.co.uk/product/eotech-512/
Pretty sure that's the cheapest UK price for an EoTech 512 (£389) that's actually in stock.
I picked up a 558 for £495 which is about 75 quid cheaper than the only other UK stockist who actually had any.
Just an FYI for anyone after an EOTech - got mine for PSG predominantly but might also use it for mini rifle
Cheap EOTech source?

Re: Cheap EOTech source?
I thought the USA-wide recall of them would mean cheap prices everywhere
Re: Cheap EOTech source?
Lol - you'd think so but no.
fwiw - it's not a recall - it's an offer to buy back, as there's no fix for it (currently) if your sight is affected by the thermal drift hence they're offering to buy it back from you.
In my particular case - given it's for PSG (mainly) and mini rifle, then 4 moa drift (potentially) between -40F (-44C) and 122F (45C) doesn't in all practical terms matter given I'm hitting plates and paper at circa 10-20 yards.
Equally - given I'm likely only shooting in temp ranges from 0C to 30C (and more commonly 10-20C) then that 90C range for thermal drift gets chopped down to 30C (and more likely 10C) and the problem of thermal drift isn't as big a deal for me as the internet at large is spazzing out at.
But yeah - caveat emptor and all that.

Re: Cheap EOTech source?
Isn't that a Viking Arms company? Given that they import them, they should be pretty keenly priced.
Re: Cheap EOTech source?
Indeed it is a Viking Arms company, they need to work on search rankings as they are waaaay way down the order compared to tactical-kit and uktactical for eg.majordisorder wrote:Isn't that a Viking Arms company? Given that they import them, they should be pretty keenly priced.
