I keep getting the above banner every time I post I have not noticed it before is there a reason for it being there. Is it new.
Any way my mate is in Florida until the new year. He agreed to bring some stuff back for me. I'm having a heck of a time trying to get them to post the items to Florida they want to send it to me in the UK. I don't get it any one know of a Company over there that sells bushings go/no gauges reamers that will accept my money and post the stuff to Florida. I'm going to try and email some companies tomorrow and se if they will help.

It may be to do with he credit card. Merchants are reluctant to send to any but the cardholders address in relation to potential fraud.

As above, the problem will be getting them to accept a UK registered card to pay for the items. I use a pre-paid US$ Mastercard (registered in the UK) and it works with almost all the major USA suppliers for me to have stuff shipped to friends in either Florida or Illinois for me to collect when we're over or post over to me. However, the payment gateway system used by SWFA and EGW refuse to accept it.

Yes I'm guessing the UK cards are part of the problem. I even tried debit cards because it comes straight out of you bank. Ill try emailing some of them to morrow. Any one know of any gun dealers in the Florida area that are worth a punt.
Up to know I think I have got the bushings. I have had a email back that looks promising for the go/no go gauges. The reamers and dialing in rods if that's the right name look to be a bit of a challenge. Ill keep trying I have a couple of weeks before he is due back in the UK.

Surely the reason is self explanatory, to make sure that non shooting related posts don't go into a shooting related forum, it is what it says.Alpha1 wrote:Should your post be in Grumpy Old Men? This area is for general shooting related posts only please.

If there's anything you need from MidwayUSA or Brownells/Sinclairs my Mastercard works fine and I can specify any delivery address in the USA, PM me if you want to use it. Having thought about it there's a case neck turner I should have brought back with me I could do with ordering anyway so it would save me the postage!.

GOD BLESS AMERICA
One of the Companies I tried to order stuff from sent me a email I think he thought I was dodgy and up to no good. I explained my predicament to him he asked for details of cards billing addresses etc. etc. He came back to me and asked me to place a small order to confirm I was genuine. The order is on its way to my Florida address and I now have a account with them. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
