This is what I am getting at as it increases the capacity from 9 to 12 rounds :p

It is the parent cartridge of 38 special and 38 long colt, thus I'm guessing using it in a 38/357 rifle/lbr should be no problem?

If the .38 short will cycle Ok, it will be faster load and still be ok for GR etc. Only thing I have never seen it mentioned in the GR circles so may be a problem in lever guns.
