Thought this might save some hassle:

So your other half is badgering you for Christmas present ideas, assuming they don't have an FAC of their own, lets make a list of suggestions for shooting related items that you like but woudn\t usually go and get yourself. (After all, ammo usually takes precedence right?) Anything from slings to FLIR scopes.
That way perhaps we can all avoid replying with "dunno dear" and getting socks as a result.

(Ps sorry about using "4" instead of "for" in the topic. Ran out of room!)

On the subject of slings I have always fancied a black Biathlon sling for my AI, a great way of spreading the weight of a rifle across both shoulders. Topically for this time of year a hat that still allows you to wear ear defenders is always good.

Good thermals, boots and/or windproof/waterproof gear can make great gifts too.

Asked my other half for a muzzle brake for my birthday later this month. Not heard any more so assumed all is ok.
